John Christopher’s latest outrageously sexy film answers the question once and for all, what comes between a young girl and her Blue Jeans. Behind every great man, there is a great woman. So the saying goes, then who is the woman behind the brilliant clothes designer, Gene Howard? Is it Ellie, his sizzling ambitious blond secretary who performs her most important office duties on her knees? No, it is his beloved wife, Debbie, who has inspired an exquisite new line of Blue Jeans, saving her husband’s business from near bankruptcy. But, Gene’s problems are not over. At a fashion show at the New York Sheraton, while the gorgeous models are displaying his skintight designs, Debbie catches Gene and his secretary performing some of her office duties. In disgust, she leaves, bumping into Tony, an ex-lover of hers who won’t take no for an answer. Debbie will get her revenge. Her sister Cindy, a very, very friendly girl seduces an important European client of Gene’s when he comes over for dinner. Cindy has spiked the food with an aphrodisiac, and Gene’s designs become an overnight success. Tony and Debbie elope together, and Gene’s fate falls into the hands of his insatiable secretary, Ellie.

Brief Affair (1982)

Another charmer from the Lewis “family” (Louie in the director’s chair as usual, with “sister” Jo Ann producing in this case), “Brief Affair” is a good example of the breezy, light-hearted kind of adult movie these people specialized in. Though modestly budgeted, their films always had a glossy look courtesy of fine cinematography and soft, hazy back-lighting – invariably uncredited – and the presence of a large number of industry alumni. In terms of quality, this one’s just a cut below their best (a triumvirate consisting of “Touch Me in the Morning“, “Memphis Cathouse Blues” and “Please, Mr. Postman“) but still well ahead of their “9 to 5″ parody “8 TO 4“.

With a career spanning three decades, Sharon Mitchell has earned herself a place among porn’s most loved and respected women. With over 2000 appearances in XXX films to her name, each as sizzling hot as the last, Sharon has earned herself a 1982 Critics’ Adult Film Award for the movie Blue Jeans, a 1983 Critics’ Adult Film Award each for the movie Sexcapades and Night Hunger, a 1984 AVN Award also for the movie Sexcapades, the X-rated Critics Organization’s Best Actress Award, the 1995 Free Speech Coalition’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Danni’s Hard Drive National Human Services Award. She was also elected to the XRCO Performers Hall of Fame in 1988.
In addition to her titillating talent both in front of and behind the camera as a performer, producer, and director, she is also the co-founder of the Adult Industry Medical HealthCare Foundation, where she assists adult performers in chemical dependency and STD counseling.
